Role Description The Co-founder Beverage Development role is a hybrid, on-site position based in Singapore. This role involves leading end-to-end beverage product development, including concept ideation, formulation, testing, and refinement using spent coffee grounds as the core ingredient. The Co-founder will coordinate with manufacturers and suppliers, oversee quality control, and ensure compliance with relevant food safety and regulatory standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting market and consumer research, iterating on recipes based on feedback, optimizing production processes, and collaborating on brand positioning and go-to-market strategies. The Co-founder will work closely with other founding members to shape the company’s vision, secure partnerships, and support fundraising and business development activities.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills and research capabilities to guide product development, consumer insights, and market validation.
• Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder management, and clear documentation of processes.
• Sales and marketing abilities to help position the brand, support customer acquisition, and contribute to growth strategies.
• Experience or strong interest in beverage formulation, food science, or R&D, ideally within consumer packaged goods or F&B.
• Understanding of sustainability principles, circular economy, and environmentally responsible production practices.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment, take initiative, and make data-informed decisions.
• Comfort with on-site lab and production work, including hands-on testing, tasting, and process optimization.
• Relevant degree in food science, chemistry, engineering, business, or a related field is beneficial, but equivalent practical experience is also valued.
