Job Description
Responsibilities
Our client is a French Western restaurant at Changi and is looking for a Kitchen Helper.
Prepare ingredients, including washing, cutting and portioning food.
Assist with cooking and food preparation according to recipes and standards.
Assemble and pack food orders accurately and promptly.
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, equipment and work areas.
Wash utensils, cookware and kitchen equipment.
Store ingredients properly and monitor stock levels and expiry dates.
Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace safety requirements.
Receive and arrange food supplies when required.
Dispose of waste appropriately.
Perform other kitchen duties assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
No prior experience required; training will be provided.
Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.
Willing to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
Possess a positive attitude and work well in a team.
Food Safety Course Level 1 certification is preferred.
