Job Purpose:
The Interface Engineer will manage and coordinate technical interfaces between the Subsea Production Systems and other project disciplines, contractors, and suppliers. The role will help ensure that all interfaces are clearly defined, coordinated, and resolved throughout the project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, manage, and coordinate engineering interfaces related to the SPS scope.
- Coordinate interfaces between subsea systems, FPSO topsides, pipelines, SURF, controls, electrical, instrumentation, and other disciplines.
- Maintain interface registers and monitor interface actions and deliverables.
- Coordinate technical information between engineering teams, contractors, and vendors.
- Identify interface issues, conflicts, and potential risks and support their resolution.
- Review interface documentation, drawings, specifications, and technical deliverables.
- Participate in design reviews, interface meetings, and technical workshops.
- Monitor interface actions and ensure timely close-out.
- Support integration, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
- Ensure interface activities comply with project requirements and applicable standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Experience in Oil & Gas, subsea, offshore, or FPSO projects.
- Must have experience in interface engineering/management.
- Good understanding of subsea production systems and their interfaces with FPSO facilities.
- Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
