Setsu Precision Technology (M) Hiring! Full Time Manual Milling in Selangor, Earn up to MYR 2,500 - Ricebowl

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

1. Set up and operation of conventional lathes and milling machines.

2. Ensure all relevant drawings, procedures and instructions are to the latest revisions, prior to work commencing.

3. Operating the machine safely and competently in accordance with manufacturers’ operating instructions and ensuring that good safety and housekeeping.

4. Ensure all components produced meet specifications using appropriate measuring equipment’s such as (Micrometers, Vernier, Height Gauges, Bore Gauges and etc.).

5. Must be able to select suitable tools inserts and cutters.

6. Candidates will be required to work within very close tolerances and be able to work in a production setting to meet on going production quotas.

7. Read blueprint drawings, job orders, tooling instructions or standard charts to determine specification procedures.

8. Perform routine machine maintenance.

9. Monitor tool wear, change tools and inserts as required.

10. Good work ethic and flexibility to work overtime and shift is a must.

11. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines and stand for long periods of time.

12. Must be able to contribute to continuous improvement techniques to improve output, quality, cost and delivery.

13. To avoid the rejection and maintain the quality at production.

14. Perform other duties stipulated as per ISO-9001:2015, ISO 45001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 requirements.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

1. Must be able to read & understand drawing and handle measuring instruments.

2. To have basic knowledge about manual milling and lathe machine.

3. Good disipline and cooperation with others.

4. Must be able to communicate and have interpersonal skill with attention to detail.

Education and Experience :

1. Minimum requirement is Certificate or Diploma in the relevant field.

2. Prefer 3-5 years of work experience as a manual milling or lathe as machinist.

3. Experience in handling with large, heavy parts as well as smaller components.

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
