About the role:

As a Florist, the primary responsibility is to create high-quality floral decor for everyday orders and lead floral installation for events and weddings. A florist should also have good coordination with the cleanliness and tidiness of the workplace.

A florist should also have the knowledge about a wide range of floral designs, flowers, foliage along with their seasonal availability and how long they will stay fresh. All designs and duties are to be performed in accordance with the standard operating policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform floral arrangements according to the production schedules.
• Ensure floral arrangements, control and standards for each product are according to the company quality standards and client's requirements.
• Maintain inventories of materials, equipment and products.
• Assessprojectandresourcerequirements.
• Perform office and retail service duties such as keeping invoices records, and serving customers if necessary.
• Decorate or supervise the decoration of events onsite as required such as corporate events, parties or weddings.
• Conduct classes or workshops onsite as required.
• Create and change in-store and window displays, designs, and looks to enhance the shop's image.
• Water the plants, cut, condition, and clean flowers and foliage for storage.
• Unpack stocks upon receiving into the shop.
• Perform general cleaning duties to ensure the shop is clean and tidy.
• Other duties may arise from time to time and may be assigned to the employee.

Requirements:

• No prior experience in floristry necessary although experience is preferred
• Have a love of flowers and people
• Have a strong sense of urgency, responsibility, focus and discipline
• Able to work long hours when required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Johor Bahru: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
