Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced
Microsoft 365 Engineer
to manage and support enterprise Microsoft 365, endpoint management, directory services, collaboration platforms and meeting-room technologies within a large-scale banking environment.
The successful candidate should have strong hands-on experience with
Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams and SharePoint Online
, together with
Microsoft Intune and Active Directory
. The role will also support enterprise collaboration and conferencing technologies including
Cisco Webex, Cisco Meeting Rooms and Microsoft Teams Rooms
.
Roles & Responsibilities
Administer, configure and support enterprise
Microsoft 365 (M365/O365)
services.
Manage and support
Exchange Online
, including user mailboxes, shared mailboxes, distribution groups, permissions, mail flow and related configurations.
Administer and support
Microsoft Teams
, including user access, policies, meetings, conferencing and collaboration features.
Manage and provide operational support for
SharePoint Online
, including sites, permissions, access and service-related issues.
Administer
Microsoft Intune
for endpoint and mobile device management.
Manage device enrolment, configuration profiles, compliance policies and application deployment through Intune.
Administer
Active Directory
, including users, groups, access permissions and related directory services.
Support
Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory)
and integration with Microsoft 365 services.
Manage and troubleshoot
Cisco Webex
collaboration and conferencing services.
Support
Cisco Meeting Room
devices and associated audio/video conferencing technologies.
Administer and troubleshoot
Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR)
and related meeting-room solutions.
Monitor Microsoft 365 service health, availability and performance and proactively address service issues.
Troubleshoot complex incidents involving Microsoft 365, endpoint management, identity, collaboration and meeting-room technologies.
Perform root-cause analysis and implement permanent fixes for recurring technical issues.
Manage incidents, service requests, problems and changes in accordance with established ITSM processes.
Perform configuration changes, software updates, patches and platform upgrades as required.
Work closely with infrastructure, network, security, workplace technology and application teams to resolve technical issues.
Coordinate with Microsoft, Cisco and other technology vendors for troubleshooting and technical escalations.
Maintain technical documentation, operating procedures, configuration records and knowledge-base articles.
Participate in technology upgrades, migrations, deployments and continuous service improvement initiatives.
Requirements
Relevant hands-on experience administering and supporting
Microsoft 365/O365
in an enterprise environment.
Strong experience with
Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams and SharePoint Online
.
Hands-on experience with
Microsoft Intune
administration and endpoint management.
Experience administering
Active Directory
.
Knowledge of
Microsoft Entra ID / Azure Active Directory
would be advantageous.
Experience supporting
Cisco Webex
and Cisco collaboration technologies.
Experience supporting
Cisco Meeting Room
solutions and devices.
Experience administering or supporting
Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR)
.
Good understanding of endpoint management, identity and access management and enterprise collaboration technologies.
Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis capabilities.
Familiarity with ITIL-based incident, problem and change management processes.
Experience supporting large-scale enterprise environments.
Experience within
banking or financial services environments
would be advantageous.
Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
