About the Role

The Learning & Development Academy, Office of Human Resources, plays a key role in building the capabilities of NUS employees and supporting the University’s workforce transformation and lifelong learning agenda.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and resourceful individual to support the planning, implementation and continuous improvement of University-wide learning initiatives. These include flagship programmes in AI, data literacy, leadership, personal effectiveness, agility and other emerging workforce capabilities.

The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders across NUS, including faculties, schools and administrative units, as well as external training and industry partners. The role combines programme management, learner engagement, learning analytics, communications and event planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end administration and evaluation of staff learning programmes and skills development initiatives, including programmes in generative AI, data literacy, leadership, personal effectiveness and agility.
• Coordinate learner communications, registration, attendance, assessments, feedback, trainers, budgets and other programme logistics.
• Analyse learner and programme data, develop reports and dashboards, identify organisational learning needs, and evaluate the application and impact of learning in the workplace.
• Review course curricula and learning experiences with domain experts, educators and partners to ensure quality, relevance and alignment with adult learning principles.
• Use generative AI, digital platforms and other technology-enabled tools to continuously enhance learning delivery, administration, communications and learner engagement.
• Plan, organise and support staff learning events, including orientations, learning journeys, symposiums, award ceremonies and communities of practice; facilitate or host sessions where required.
• Develop publicity materials and communications to promote learning initiatives and engage learners and stakeholders effectively.
• Support the development of learning strategies, policies and workforce transformation projects, while building strong partnerships across NUS and with external training and industry partners.

Qualifications

• A recognised Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. Qualifications in Human Resource Development, Adult Education, Business, Communications, Data Analytics or a related field would be advantageous.
• Preferably possess at least two years of relevant experience in learning and development, continuing education and training, human resources, or a related field. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Good understanding of, or strong interest in, emerging workforce trends, particularly generative and agentic AI, automation and data on jobs and skills.
• Basic competency in data analysis and visualisation using tools such as Microsoft Excel or Power BI, with the ability to interpret data and present meaningful insights.
• Strong written and spoken English, with the ability to prepare clear communications, reports, presentations and publicity materials.
• Strong planning, coordination and project management skills, with close attention to detail and the ability to work effectively as a collaborative team player.
• Comfortable engaging different groups of stakeholders, including learners, educators, senior leaders and external partners.
• Able to facilitate discussions or host events confidently. Experience in emceeing or event facilitation would be an advantage.
• Strong interest in lifelong learning, workforce development and helping others apply new capabilities in the workplace.
