JOB DESCRIPTION

• Lead the end-to-end annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting, ensuring alignment with overall business strategy and financial targets.
• Support in the preparation of Board papers seeking approval to the Group’s annual budget
• Prepare Board Paper to update the Board on the Group’s performance against Budget and/or Forecast on a monthly and quarterly basis.
• Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to the Head of Finance through analysis of financial performance, project progress, and competitor activity to support informed decision-making.
• Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics, proactively identifying risks, opportunities, and performance gaps.
• Develop, implement, and enhance FP&A tools, dashboards, and reporting frameworks to improve data accuracy, visibility, and timeliness of insights.
• Act as a finance business partner to Project Directors and Quantity Surveyors by providing financial planning support, commercial guidance, and cost control oversight to drive efficiency and cost optimisation.
• Drive continuous improvement of FP&A processes, systems, and methodologies to enhance operational efficiency, analytical capability, and quality of financial insights.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field;
• Professional qualification (ACCA / CPA Australia / CIMA / MIA) is preferred;
• Minimum 2 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, management accounting, financial analysis
• Solid knowledge of Malaysian financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards;
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Power Point, experience in IFCA Accounting Software is an added advantage;
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills with high attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines;
• Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders across different functions.
• Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong business acumen and ability to interpret financial data into actionable insights;

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM11,000.00 per month
