Join OSM Thome as Chief Engineer on an offshore Multicat Utility vessel in Taiwan. You will lead all engine room operations, keep the vessel safe and reliable, and support offshore activities in a busy and challenging working area.

Joining Date - End September

• Key responsibilities:
• Oversee and carry out operation and maintenance of all main and auxiliary engines and machinery
• Plan and supervise preventive maintenance and repairs for all technical systems
• Manage engine room crew and ensure safe working practices at all times
• Monitor fuel, lube oil, spares and technical stores; prepare and follow up requisitions
• Ensure compliance with class, flag, company and safety regulations
• Keep engine room logs, records and reports up to date

• Requirements:
• Valid Chief Engineer CoC (unlimited or appropriate near-coastal / offshore endorsement)
• Previous experience as C/E, preferably on offshore / multicat / workboats is an advantage
• Valid DP Maintenance or DP K-POS certificate is needed
• Valid STCW certificates and offshore medicals as required
• Good command of English, spoken and written
• Strong leadership, hands-on attitude and safety mindset
