Key Responsibilities: -

• Verify and check all invoices are supported by duly approved purchase orders and/or the approval of authorized management personnel.
• Verify prices, quantities and extensions against purchase order as required, and initial the invoice when verified.
• Checks all invoices for proper documentation either in the form of purchase order or signature approval.
• Ensure all payments are made correctly and with the correct authorization (approved PO), evidence of receipt, invoice or delivery slip.
• Process of invoices by manually key into accounting system.
• Prepare payment voucher and ensure payment release to vendors as per Head of Finance.
• Prepare last minute/urgent payment as they are required if directed by Head of Finance.
• Prepare journal entry for accrual of invoices received after closing and for goods and services received, but not yet invoiced.
• Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records, documentation and filing of the records.
• Maintain alphabetical files by vendor containing complete invoices and backup after payment.
• Assist in monthly inventory processes.
• Perform any other duties assigned and when necessary by Management.

Qualifications & Requirements: -

1. Candidate must possess at least a Post Graduate Diploma in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.

2. Preferable with 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field.

3. Good analytical skills, accurate in details and good at multitasking.

4. Responsible and reliable, able to work independently, committed and meet deadlines.

5. Computer literate and familiar in Microsoft Office, i.e. Excel, Words, Outlook.

6. Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to multitask.

7. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
