Inter Island Group Hiring! Full Time Assistant Manager Restaurant in Johor - Ricebowl

We are looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the daily operations of a fast-paced restaurant. This role is suitable for someone with experience in F&B, fast food, restaurant operations, or hospitality who enjoys leading a team and delivering good customer service.

What You'll Be Doing

• Support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations.
• Manage opening and closing shifts and ensure smooth operations throughout the day.
• Supervise crew members and coordinate manpower during busy periods.
• Assist with staff training, scheduling, and day-to-day performance management.
• Ensure customers receive prompt, friendly, and professional service.
• Handle customer feedback and complaints appropriately.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory counting and ordering of ingredients and supplies.
• Maintain restaurant cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards.
• Ensure employees follow established operational and safety procedures.
• Monitor daily sales and support cash handling and cashier reconciliation.
• Assist in controlling food waste, stock usage, and labour costs.
• Support the Restaurant Manager in achieving operational and service targets.
• Perform other restaurant operational duties as required.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification.
• 1–3 years of experience in F&B, restaurant, fast food, hospitality, or a related environment.
• Previous experience as a Supervisor, Shift Leader, Assistant Restaurant Manager, or similar position is an advantage.
• Good leadership and team management skills.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Able to handle operational issues and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable handling basic inventory, cash, and daily restaurant operations.
• Willing to work on a shift basis, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
• Responsible, proactive, and able to work well with a team.
