About Kanlax Coffee

Kanlax Coffee is a growing café and food & beverage brand in Iskandar Puteri. We are looking for enthusiastic, responsible and customer-focused Baristas to join our team.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, beverages and other menu items according to Kanlax Coffee's recipes and SOPs.
• Operate coffee machines, grinders, blenders and other café equipment safely.
• Ensure consistent taste, quality and presentation of all beverages.
• Take customer orders accurately and provide friendly customer service.
• Operate the POS system and handle cash/card transactions accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the bar, dining area and workstations.
• Assist with food preparation and plating when required.
• Monitor beverage and food stock levels and inform the supervisor when replenishment is required.
• Follow proper food handling, hygiene and safety procedures.
• Assist with opening and closing duties.
• Support promotions and maintain good customer engagement.
• Work as part of a team to ensure smooth daily outlet operations.
• Perform other reasonable duties assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.

Requirements

• Previous barista or F&B experience is an advantage but training will be provided.
• Passionate about coffee, beverages and customer service.
• Friendly, hardworking and responsible.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to learn and follow company SOPs.
• Able to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required.
• Must be flexible to work at Mall of Medini or Educity Sports Complex according to operational requirements.
