About the Role Are you a dedicated Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) professional looking to make a direct impact in a fast-paced manufacturing environment?

We are seeking a highly proactive EHS Executive to join our Facilities Department. In this critical role, you will be the driving force behind our plant’s safety culture, ensuring 100% compliance with local statutory regulations, minimizing workplace hazards, and managing emergency response systems. Working closely with our engineering team, you will ensure that all plant operations, chemical handling, and facility hook-ups meet strict safety and environmental standards without compromising production timelines.

What You Will Do

• Statutory Compliance: Serve as the primary liaison with DOSH/JKKP and DOE. Ensure full compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act, Factories and Machinery Act, and Environmental Quality Act. Track and renew all statutory licenses and machinery certifications (PMA/PMT).
• Hazard Management & Workplace Safety: Conduct thorough HIRARC for all facility and production activities. Vigorously manage the Permit to Work (PTW) system for high-risk tasks (Confined Space, Hot Work, LOTO, Working at Heights). Lead RCA for any incidents and implement effective CAPA.
• Environmental & Waste Control: Oversee the legally compliant storage and disposal of Scheduled Waste. Monitor emissions and industrial effluent indicators, collaborating with systems engineers to ensure statutory limits are met. Manage Chemical SDS and secondary containment protocols.
• Emergency Preparedness: Act as the custodian for fire life safety infrastructure (FM200, sprinklers). Organize, train, and manage the plant’s Emergency Response Team (ERT) and First Aid team, including executing annual fire drills.
• Safety Culture & Auditing: Conduct safety inductions for new hires, contractors, and visitors. Perform routine safety audits on contractors during equipment installations and enforce strict safety discipline on the floor.

What We Are Looking For

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience: 3 to 5 years of hands-on EHS experience within a manufacturing, plant, or semiconductor packaging environment.
• Certifications (Highly Preferred):
• Registered Safety and Health Officer (SHO) with a valid DOSH Green Book.
• CePSWaM, CePIETS, or CePBFO certifications are a major advantage.
• Language Skills: Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia. The ability to converse, read technical templates, and report in Mandarin is highly advantageous due to the organizational structure.
• Key Traits: Diplomatic yet assertive in enforcing guidelines. Strong analytical problem-solver capable of managing field contractors and presenting data to senior leadership.

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
