Job Summary
NCE Corporation (S) Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced M&E Quantity Surveyor to manage the tendering, cost control and contractual administration of mechanical and electrical works for construction, addition and alteration, renovation and reinstatement projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Review tender documents, drawings, specifications and contractual requirements
- Prepare accurate quantity take-offs, cost estimates, quotations and bills of quantities
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors
- Prepare tender submissions and respond to tender clarifications
- Monitor project expenditure against the approved budget
- Prepare progress claims, payment assessments, variation orders and final accounts
- Verify subcontractor claims and completed work quantities
- Identify commercial risks, discrepancies and potential cost implications
- Maintain proper cost, procurement and contractual records
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, project teams, suppliers and subcontractors
- Attend tender interviews, project meetings and site inspections when required
- Support procurement, material comparison and subcontractor appointment
- Ensure submissions are completed accurately and within the required deadlines
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
- Minimum two years of relevant M&E quantity surveying experience
- Experience in Singapore construction, A&A, renovation or reinstatement projects is preferred
- Able to interpret architectural, mechanical and electrical drawings and specifications
- Familiar with tender preparation, cost estimation, progress claims, variation orders and final accounts
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office and quantity take-off software
- Strong numerical, analytical, negotiation and communication skills
- Able to work independently, manage deadlines and coordinate with multiple parties
- Good written and spoken English
