We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Associate to join our highly regarded Litigation practice in Hong Kong. Working alongside experienced litigators, you'll play a key role in managing a diverse range of disputes, including commercial litigation, financial services and regulatory matters, insolvency and restructuring cases.

About the role

In this role, you'll:

• Manage a varied caseload of litigation and dispute resolution matters, acting as the primary responsible timekeeper under partner supervision

• Liaise directly with clients, opposing counsel and other professional advisers to progress matters effectively

• Draft correspondence, pleadings, court documents and other legal submissions, and attend hearings where required

• Maintain effective matter management, including client due diligence requirements, billing and financial management responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor and support junior lawyers, paralegals and support staff within the team

• Contribute to training initiatives and wider projects that support the development of the Litigation practice

• Support business development activities through client relationship building, thought leadership, networking events and marketing initiatives

• Manage competing priorities effectively, ensuring matters are delivered to a high standard and within agreed timeframes

• Take ownership of continuous professional development and legal knowledge enhancement

About you – essential requirements

• Qualified solicitor or barrister with demonstrable experience in commercial litigation, financial services and regulatory matters, insolvency and restructuring, or related dispute resolution work

• Admitted in the UK, British Virgin Islands or Cayman Islands

• Excellent drafting, analytical and matter management skills, with the ability to manage complex matters with appropriate supervision

• Proven ability to build effective relationships with clients, colleagues and external stakeholders

• Experience supervising and developing junior legal professionals

• Excellent organisational skills, commercial awareness and a commitment to delivering high quality client service
