Key responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize cycle time, line balancing, and seat assembly processes to improve productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.
• Analyze and troubleshoot process, machinery, tooling, and production issues to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.
• Develop, review, and improve SOPs, work instructions, and process standards to ensure consistency and quality compliance.
• Plan and execute process validation for new equipment, materials, products, and production layout changes.
• Drive continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, automation, and other improvement methodologies.
• Monitor key process KPIs and provide technical support and training to production and maintenance teams while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, or equivalent)
• Minimum 2–5 years of working experience in manufacturing or automotive production environment
• Knowledge in process improvement, cycle time study, line balancing, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Six Sigma methodologies
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with hands-on experience in production processes, machinery, and tooling
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and engineering-related systems/software; experience in automation projects is an added advantage

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
