Salary:

Full time Rate: RM 2,800

Working days: 6 Days Work Week / Shifting Hours

Overview:

Join our culinary team as a Commis 2, supporting daily kitchen operations while assisting with ingredient purchasing and ordering. You will work closely with the Chef and kitchen team to ensure ingredients are properly prepared, stocked, and available for smooth service.

This role is ideal for someone with hands-on kitchen experience who is also familiar with basic purchasing, inventory, and ordering processes.

Core Responsibilities:

• Assist with food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations.
• Assist with ingredient purchasing, ordering, and stock monitoring.
• Check the quality, quantity, and freshness of incoming ingredients.
• Ensure proper food storage and handling according to food safety standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and equipment.
• Support the kitchen team during busy service periods.

Job Specifications:

• At least 1 year of kitchen experience preferred.
• Experience in purchasing, ordering, or inventory management is an advantage.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
• Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Malaysian citizens or those with the legal right to work in Malaysia are encouraged to apply.
