Job Description

Responsibilities

Job Summary

The Senior Product Engineer at Jabil Circuit (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. will play a pivotal role in the entire product lifecycle, from design to mass production and continuous improvement. This position requires a strong technical background in manufacturing of Photonics devices.

Job Responsibilities

* Lead and manage new product introduction (NPI) activities, ensuring smooth transition from design to manufacturing.

* Optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency, yield, and cost-effectiveness.

* Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for production issues, yield excursions, and customer returns.

* Collaborate with design engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to resolve technical challenges and improve product performance.

* Develop and implement test plans, fixtures, and equipment for product validation and production testing.

* Perform statistical data analysis to identify trends, predict failures, and drive continuous process improvement.

* Participate in design reviews, offering DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and DFT (Design for Testability) feedback.

* Prepare and present technical reports, analyses, and recommendations to management and cross-functional teams.

* Stay abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in electronics manufacturing.

Job Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field.

* Minimum of 3 years of experience in product engineering within the electronics manufacturing industry.

* Proficiency in test methodologies, equipment, and instrumentation (e.g., oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, DMMs).

* Demonstrated experience with statistical process control (SPC), Six Sigma methodologies, and problem-solving tools (e.g., 8D, FMEA).

* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

* Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
