Ampotech is a Singapore-based technology company that provides AI- and IoT-enabled smart energy management solutions. We help businesses in commercial real estate, manufacturing, renewable energy, and infrastructure sectors optimize energy performance, reduce operational costs, and drive sustainable growth. 

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead business growth in energy-efficient cooling and smart building solutions across Singapore. This role is responsible for driving revenue through strategic sales execution, key account management, and partnerships with consultants, developers, facility owners, and industrial clients. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of HVAC systems, energy performance improvement, and building automation solutions, with the ability to engage both technical and senior decision-makers.  

Candidates with a mechanical or electrical engineering background and an established network with local contractors and system integrators are highly preferred. 

Responsibilities 

• Develop and execute a sales strategy to grow revenue in Singapore.  
• Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across commercial and industrial sectors. 
• Drive the full sales cycle: lead generation, solution positioning, proposal development, negotiation, and contract closure. 
• Work closely with the CEO and CTO to follow up on customer opportunities, strengthen existing customer relationships, and identify new business opportunities within Ampotech’s existing customer network. 
• Work closely with engineering and technical teams to design commercially viable solutions. 
• Achieve and exceed assigned revenue, margin, and growth targets. 
• Manage strategic accounts and channel partners. 
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and CRM records. 
• Prepare regular sales reports, market feedback, and competitor intelligence. 

Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or another engineering discipline, or equivalent work experience. 
• Approximately 5 years of B2B sales experience in HVAC, building automation, or a related field. 
• Strong network with ecosystem stakeholders such as M&E consultants, developers, facilities service providers, electrical contractors, and system integrators. 
• Mechanical or electrical engineering background with the ability to understand and communicate technical solutions effectively. 
• Experience working in a startup or similar environment is desirable. 
• Sales experience beyond Singapore in Southeast Asian markets is desirable.  
• Responsible and self-motivated with high integrity. 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. 
• Comfortable with public speaking. 
• Willingness to travel.
