About the Role

The role involves designing and developing data center infrastructure while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop data center infrastructure (electrical, mechanical, cooling)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet business and industry standards
• Conduct site surveys, selection, and feasibility studies
• Develop and maintain design standards, guidelines, and best practices
• Ensure compliance with standards like TIA-942, BICSI, and ASHRAE
• Translate business needs into technical specifications
• Manage project plans, timelines, and budgets
• Provide technical guidance to junior team members

Qualifications

• Minimum 6-10 years of experience in data centre design, with a focus on electrical, mechanical, and cooling systems
• Consultancy background is a plus
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality data centre projects
• Certification or LEED

Required Skills

• Expertise in data center design
• Strong project management skills
• Technical guidance capabilities
• Experience in hyperscale or large-scale infrastructure projects
• Speaks Mandarin

Preferred Skills

• Experience with TIA-942, BICSI, and ASHRAE standards
• Background in consultancy
