Responsibilities

Position : Master Data Analyst

Industry : Oil & Gas (Customer & Products)

Location: Kuala Lumpur

Employment Type: 12 month contract with PERSOL

Working Hours : Standard working hours with flexibility for ad-hoc Half UK Shift (11:00 AM - 8:00 PM MYT). Shift allowance provided.

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (60/40). During 1 month need to work full in office for effective knowledge transfer.

Salary range : RM3,000 - RM4,500 (based on experience & qualification)


What You'll Be Doing

  • Manage and maintain Vendor, Customer, Material, Pricing, and Finance Master Data across multiple business systems
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, compliance, and adherence to governance standards and SLAs
  • Investigate, analyse, and resolve master data issues through root cause identification
  • Conduct vendor and customer validation activities to support fraud prevention and data security controls
  • Engage with stakeholders globally to verify and validate critical business information
  • Perform due diligence, data verification, and documentation reviews to maintain audit readiness
  • Support KPI reporting, data quality initiatives, and continuous improvement activities
  • Participate in data-related projects, system enhancements, and process migration initiatives
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and governance procedures


What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Finance, Engineering, Business Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related disciplines
  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Candidates with experience in Master Data Management, Vendor Master Data, Customer Master Data, Data Governance, Data Operations, or Shared Services are highly encouraged to apply
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with stakeholders over phone and email
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible to support ad-hoc Half UK Shift (11:00 AM – 8:00 PM MYT)
  • Fluent in English (Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage)


Added Advantages

  • Experience with SAP, JDE, Salesforce, or other ERP systems
  • Exposure to Vendor Master Data Management or Customer Master Data processes
  • Knowledge of Power BI, Excel Macros, Data Visualization, or Automation Tools
  • Experience handling stakeholder management, group projects, or process improvement initiatives
