About Big Fat Smile Sdn Bhd

We're looking for a Product Innovation & Development Executive to help develop and launch products across our home care, car care and pet care categories. You'll work directly with the CEO, suppliers and internal teams to bring new products from concept to market.

If you have relevant experience in Product Development, R&D, Formulation, Manufacturing or Technical Product Development, we'd like to hear from you.

What You'll Do

• Research market trends, competitors and new product opportunities.
• Develop new products and improve existing products.
• Translate product ideas into clear briefs and specifications.
• Source and coordinate with OEM manufacturers, suppliers and laboratories.
• Coordinate product samples, trials, testing and improvements.
• Evaluate ingredients/raw materials, packaging, quality and product performance.
• Support product costing and commercial feasibility evaluation.
• Coordinate packaging, artwork, claims and product information.
• Manage relevant product documentation and regulatory/compliance requirements.
• Track development timelines from idea → testing → production → launch.
• Work closely with Marketing, Procurement, Operations, Sales and Finance.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Cosmetic Science, Food Science, Product Development, Business, Marketing or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in FMCG Product Development, Product Innovation, R&D or related roles.
• Experience working with OEM or contract manufacturers is highly preferred.
• Strong project management and coordination skills.
• Good commercial awareness with costing and profitability analysis.
• Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to manage multiple projects independently.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage for communicating with suppliers and manufacturers.
