Role Description The Planning Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Rawang. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining project schedules, coordinating production and construction activities, and monitoring progress against plans. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing project data, identifying potential delays, preparing progress reports, and supporting project control activities to keep timelines, resources, and costs on track. The Planning Engineer will collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and other stakeholders to communicate planning updates, resolve scheduling issues, and optimize workflow on site. The role also involves ensuring that planning processes align with company standards, client requirements, and relevant regulations.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Planning and Production Planning skills to develop, coordinate, and update project and construction schedules.
• Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and Project Control capabilities to monitor progress, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to collaborate with project teams, report findings, and present planning information clearly.
• Relevant experience in construction or engineering projects, preferably in planning or project coordination roles.
• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Proficiency with planning and scheduling software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and common office tools.
• Ability to work on-site in Rawang, manage multiple tasks, and meet project deadlines.
• Knowledge of construction methodologies, safety standards, and local regulations is an advantage.
