Responsibilities
Join us in scaling and evolving a digital bank using cloud-native technologies. We’re a high-performing team solving exciting problems and delivering high-quality products in small, interdisciplinary teams. We are redefining what modern banking in Hong Kong can look like through engineering excellence, product thinking, and continuous delivery.
- Build and continuously improve backend systems and services.
- Develop RESTful APIs and event-driven microservices.
- Design and operate reliable, scalable, and secure services.
- Write high-quality, maintainable code with strong automated tests.
- Build services in Kotlin or Java within a cloud-native microservice architecture.
- Work with event streams and relational databases.
- Use containers and orchestration platforms to deploy and run services.
- Implement continuous integration and continuous delivery practices.
- Monitor production services and respond to incidents.
- You build it, you run it.
Requirements
Fluent in Kotlin or Java.
Solid experience in backend development and CI/CD processes.
Solid understanding of distributed systems and microservice design.
Hands-on experience with event-driven architecture.

- Strong API design skills, including backward compatibility.
- Strong testing practices across unit and integration levels.

- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted software development workflows.
Your Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
