Inter Island Group Hiring! Full Time Consulting Sales Engineer in Pulau Pinang - Ricebowl

We are looking for a Consulting Sales Engineer to support customers across various manufacturing industries by providing product solutions and technical consultation related to Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), Production Engineering, and Research & Development (R&D).

This position combines technical consultation, customer engagement, product demonstration, and sales activities.

What You'll Be Doing

• Promote products and provide consultation to customers across various manufacturing industries.
• Understand customers' production processes, applications, and technical requirements to recommend suitable solutions.
• Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, customer engagement, proposal preparation, negotiation, and closing.
• Contact prospective customers to understand their requirements and arrange appointments.
• Visit customers and conduct product demonstrations directly with end users.
• Perform application testing and demonstrate how proposed solutions can support customers' operational requirements.
• Manage sales activities for assigned product lines and territories.
• Maintain and develop relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Review sales activities and performance to support achievement of assigned targets.
• Participate in internal meetings and training to continuously improve sales skills, product knowledge, and technical application knowledge.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, or equivalent in any field.
• Candidates with an Engineering or technical educational background are encouraged to apply.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Candidates with up to approximately 2 years of relevant working experience may also be considered.
• Comfortable communicating with customers and conducting face-to-face product presentations or demonstrations.
• Interested in technical consultation, sales, and the manufacturing industry.
• Able to travel to customer locations as required for the role.
• Possess a valid driving licence and have access to personal transportation for work-related travel.
