Quant Engineer (Fast-growing startup)

Our client is a digital assets trading platform seeking a Quant Engineer to develop quantitative tools and trading technology supporting pricing, execution and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain quantitative models and software supporting pricing and trading across digital asset markets.
• Work closely with researchers, traders and engineers to translate quantitative ideas into reliable production systems.
• Build tools to analyze market data, evaluate trading performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Develop back testing and simulation capabilities to assess models and trading logic under different market conditions.
• Monitor and improve the accuracy, speed and reliability of pricing and execution systems.
• Support risk monitoring and investigate issues affecting model performance or trading operations.

Key Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics or a related quantitative discipline.
• Strong programming skills and experience developing reliable, maintainable software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a sound understanding of probability and statistics.
• Experience in quantitative development, trading technology or financial systems would be advantageous.
• Familiarity with digital assets, derivatives or market microstructure would be beneficial.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and trading teams in a fast-paced environment.
