JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a hands-on PROTÉGÉ Technician to join our Technical team. The trainee will gain practical exposure in automotive maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO), specialized vehicle maintenance, ground support equipment, and related technical operations. This role is suitable for candidates who are interested in developing their technical skills and gaining industry experience in automotive and engineering services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Assist technicians in carrying out maintenance, inspection, repair and overhaul (MRO) activities for automotive and specialized vehicles.

2. Assist in troubleshooting and identifying basic mechanical, electrical and technical issues.

3. Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities according to established procedures and safety requirements.

4. Assist in servicing and maintaining ground support equipment (GSE) and other specialized equipment.

5. Conduct basic inspection, testing and functional checks on vehicles, equipment and components.

6. Assist with dismantling, installation, replacement and assembly of vehicle components and spare parts.

7. Support the team in ensuring vehicles and equipment are maintained in proper working condition.

8. Assist in identifying and reporting technical faults or abnormalities to the Technician / Supervisor.

9. Maintain proper records of maintenance activities, inspection results and work performed.

10. Assist in checking and handling spare parts, tools and technical equipment required for maintenance activities.

11. Ensure tools, equipment and work areas are properly maintained and organized.

12. Comply with company Safety, Health & Environmental (SHE) requirements, SOPs and technical procedures.

13. Perform other technical duties and assignments as required by the supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Maintenance Engineering or related technical fields.

2. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

3. Basic knowledge of automotive systems, mechanical components, electrical systems or equipment maintenance will be an advantage.

4. Hands-on and willing to work in a workshop / technical environment.

5. Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

6. Willing to learn and work as part of a technical team.

7. Willing to travel or work at different locations / sites when required.

WORKING HOURS:
- MON - FRI : 8.30am - 5.30pm
- SATURDAY WEEK 4 : 9.00am - 3.00pm

Pay: RM2,000.00 per month
