Key Responsibilities
Monitor and troubleshoot plant operations and perform 2-hour equipment checks using the “Field Operation Checklist,” promptly reporting any abnormalities
To check the oil sludge hopper level from time to time
Using Forklift to top up oil sludge bin
Operate a forklift for clearing fly ash bins and slag containers, as well as topping up sand for the fluidizing bed incinerator
Strictly abide on EHS policies and regulations at all times
Operate the crane to top up oil sludge into the hopper
Record plant operation parameters to monitor plant health performance
To ensure the incinerator parameters is in good operating condition
Regulate liquid waste treatment capacity as required, while monitoring wastewater and waste solvent tank levels and informing the Supervisor/Team Leader when levels reach low thresholds
Compile and review daily operation reports
Communicate effectively with staff to support safe plant operations and identify any safety lapses in routine tasks
Requirements
Minimum Nitec in Mechanical/ Electrical or Chemical Engineering
Minimum 2 years of experience in the Oil & Chemistry industry
