Responsibilities

Position Overview

Clifford Capital Asset Management is seeking a Sustainability Advisor on a 6-month contract to provide focused coverage for ETAF’s ESG, impact and financial additionality workstreams. Reporting to the Portfolio Manager, the role will lead ESG reporting, support transaction-level assessments, coordinate with the external Impact Adviser, and prepare concise materials for internal and investor-facing purposes. ETAF (Energy Transition Acceleration Finance) supports energy transition projects in South and Southeast Asia and is part of Singapore’s FAST-P partnership, and Clifford Capital Asset Management is the appointed Fund Manager for ETAF.


Key Responsibilities

ESG and Impact Reporting

Lead the coordination and delivery of ETAF’s annual ESG report and quarterly ESG/impact inputs, ensuring timely, accurate and well-documented submissions.

•Develop and manage reporting workplans, timelines, inputs, review cycles and approvals.

•Collect, consolidate and validate ESG, impact and supporting data from internal teams, portfolio companies, advisers and other stakeholders.

•Prepare and review report drafts, incorporating comments and maintaining clear records of source materials, revisions and decisions.


Transaction Support and Impact Adviser Coordination

•Support ESG due diligence, impact assessments and financial additionality analysis for prospective transactions.

•Coordinate information requests and review materials with transaction teams, the Portfolio Manager and the external Impact Adviser.

•Prepare or review impact memoranda, financial additionality language, ESG action plans and transaction monitoring requirements.

•Prepare concise ESG and impact inputs for quarterly and ad-hoc investor reporting.

•Ensure consistency across quarterly reports, transaction materials, pipeline updates and LP communications.

•Assess pipeline projects for financial additionality and draft clear, supportable language for internal and LP-facing materials.

•Identify information gaps and maintain organised supporting records for subsequent transaction analysis.

•Develop targeted sustainability and impact materials for investor presentations, including sector research on climate mitigation, adaptation and infrastructure-related trends.


Key Deliverables

•Annual ESG report delivered within the required timeline, with clear supporting documentation.

•Quarterly ESG and impact inputs prepared for investor reporting during the contract period.

•Transaction ESG assessments, financial additionality analysis, impact memos and monitoring requirements completed as needed.

•Investor presentation materials and organised handover files to ensure continuity at contract end.


Professional Experience / Qualifications

•Relevant experience in ESG, sustainability, impact investing, sustainable finance or related areas within financial services.

•Strong understanding of ESG/impact reporting, transaction due diligence and investment documentation.

•Ability to analyse financial and non-financial information and articulate impact and financial additionality clearly.

•Excellent project management, stakeholder coordination and written communication skills.

•High attention to detail, independence and judgement in managing multiple deadlines and escalating appropriately.
