Role Description This full-time, on-site Cost and Contract Executive role is based in WP Kuala Lumpur. The position is responsible for supporting cost control and contract management activities across property development and related projects. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and reviewing cost estimates, assisting in tender documentation and evaluations, monitoring project budgets and expenditures, and supporting contract administration and compliance. The executive collaborates with project teams, finance, and external vendors to track variations, verify claims, and ensure accurate documentation. The role also involves maintaining records, preparing reports for management, and contributing to process improvements that strengthen project profitability and commercial governance.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial analysis for property or construction-related projects.
  • Capabilities in contract drafting, review, and administration, including familiarity with tender processes and claims verification.
  • Proficiency in using spreadsheets, project management tools, and relevant software for cost tracking and reporting.
  • Solid analytical, problem-solving, and numeracy skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with internal teams, consultants, and contractors.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and operate within structured procedures and policies.
  • Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Finance, Business, or a related field; experience in property development or construction is an advantage.
  • Understanding of basic contract law and industry standards; exposure to hotel or asset management projects is beneficial.
