Systems Limited Hiring! Full Time Field CTO in Federal Territory - Ricebowl

We are hiring Field CTO who will provides technical feasibility input during the pursuit, embeds pre-sale to validate design, and owns end-to-end solution design and short PoC build before handoff to delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end AI presales and solutioning

• Embed in live pursuits to validate technical feasibility before scope is finalized

• Own end-to-end design of the PoC/PoV — architecture, data, integration approach — scoped tight enough to prove the value hypothesis

• Solution, Build and ship the PoC/PoV solo or with a small team, fast enough to matter inside the sales cycle

• Assess technical architecture and compliance risk during the pursuit (security, data residency, integration complexity)

• Pull in SPOKE specialists (Solution Architect, Data Scientist, MLOps Engineer) only when the pursuit needs deeper technical proof

• Own structured technical handover to Delivery — blueprint, risk log, and technical narrative for the incoming pod

• Serve as the senior technical voice in client-facing oral presentations and technical defense sessions

• Represent delivery feasibility and implementation methodology to client technical stakeholders during the pursuit

• Partner with the AI Deployment Strategist to keep scope technically realistic against timeline/budget

• Coach and calibrate junior technical staff embedded in the same pursuit

• Flex into supporting multiple concurrent pursuits when Hub capacity is stretched

Requirements:

• 15–20 yrs hands-on engineering/architecture, with real production shipping experience, not just PoCs

• Full-stack range across the data/model/integration/agentic stack — can build across layers without waiting on a specialist

• Deep familiarity with major cloud AI/agentic platforms — Microsoft Azure AI Foundry, AWS Bedrock (incl. Strands Agents), and Google Vertex AI; open-source frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph) is a MUST

• Strong grasp of technical compliance considerations (security architecture, data residency, integration risk) for enterprise AI

• Deep understanding of delivery/implementation methodology — how a PoC path realistically becomes a production rollout

• Can defend a design under technical challenge from the client's own engineers or architects

• Comfortable being customer-facing while under sales-cycle time pressure

• Executive and technical presentation skills — leads client orals and hands-on technical demonstrations personally

• Prior forward-deployed, startup, or embedded-consulting experience is a strong plus

• Coaching presence for junior technical staff on live pursuits

• Resilient — handles multiple concurrent high-stakes pursuits without dropping quality
• Success metrics: PoC/PoV cycle time to client sign-off · technical win rate on pursuits led · handover quality (delivery-reported accuracy of scope vs. as-built)
