The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director – Private Equity & Investment Origination to join Accencia Capital.

This is a commercially driven senior investment role for a professional who can operate across the complete private equity lifecycle:

Origination → Evaluation → Due Diligence → Execution → Value Creation → Exit

The successful candidate will not simply be a deal analyst. This position combines investment judgement, commercial development, relationship capital, deal origination and transaction execution.

Key Responsibilities

Deal Origination & Sourcing

• Generate proprietary and intermediary-led investment opportunities.
• Build and maintain a structured target-company and relationship pipeline.
• Develop referral channels with investment banks, M&A advisers, family offices and professional advisers.
• Build relationships with entrepreneurs, founders, corporate leaders, strategic investors and other market participants.
• Screen opportunities against Accencia Capital’s investment mandate.

Investment Analysis

• Conduct financial statement and cash-flow analysis.
• Perform company valuation, DCF, trading comparable and precedent transaction analysis.
• Develop LBO and investment-return models where appropriate.
• Assess market dynamics, competition, management quality and downside risks.
• Analyse entry and exit valuation, IRR and MOIC.
• Prepare Investment Committee papers, recommendations and supporting materials.

Due Diligence & Transaction Execution

• Coordinate financial, commercial, legal, tax, operational and ESG due diligence.
• Support transaction structuring and term-sheet negotiations.
• Coordinate external advisers and transaction documentation.
• Track conditions precedent and closing milestones.
• Support negotiations and transaction closing.

Portfolio & Value Creation

• Monitor portfolio-company financial and operating performance.
• Support strategic planning, M&A, digital transformation and growth initiatives.
• Identify revenue, EBITDA and enterprise-value creation opportunities.
• Develop and monitor potential exit strategies.

Investor & Market Development

The Associate Director will also contribute to Accencia’s broader investment ecosystem by developing high-quality relationships with:

• Family offices
• High Net Worth Individuals
• Institutional investors
• Strategic corporate investors
• Entrepreneurs and business owners
• Investment banks and M&A advisers
• Private equity and venture capital firms

The role includes supporting investor presentations, meetings, investment materials, due-diligence responses and approved capital-partner initiatives.

We are looking for a senior investment professional with typically 8–12+ years of relevant experience in areas such as:
