Job Description
Strategy, Research and Data Division (SRDD) leads AIC’s forward and strategic planning through a data-driven, multidisciplinary approach. We advance research and thought leadership with partners and stakeholders to foster a vibrant care community where people live well and age gracefully.

Within SRDD, the Strategic Planning team leads long-term planning and develops an integrated view of programmes and enabling initiatives. We work across AIC to interpret emerging community care issues, translate insights and national policy into practical strategies, align stakeholders, and coordinate engagements with the Ministry of Health on cross-cutting issues.


The Assistant Manager will:
  • Support AIC’s strategic planning, including the development and implementation of strategic plans.
  • Engage AIC divisions, MOH and partners to interpret cross-cutting issues, align priorities and facilitate strategic planning workshops or retreats.
  • Analyse complex issues and translate insights into recommendations, strategic options and planning implications for management.
  • Review organisational outcomes, impact measures and progress towards strategic goals, and refine corporate, block and programme performance indicators.
  • Strengthen AIC’s planning capability through prioritisation and resource allocation frameworks, study-trip learning objectives and forward scanning.
  • Develop briefs, talking points and thought pieces for AIC principals’ engagements on a rotational basis.

Job Requirements
  • Recognised degree in any discipline
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in strategic planning, policy or corporate development, or experience in the health or social care sector will be an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good project management and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Team player with good interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and conscientious
  • Proactive self-starter who is able to work independently
  • Strong willingness to learn
  • Able to implement solutions in a complex environment
