Roles & Responsibilities
Internship Program (Network Operation Center (NOC):
- Monitor network alerts – Track monitoring systems to detect network or device issues promptly
- Create & update support tickets – Log new incidents and maintain accurate ticket details
- Perform basic troubleshooting – Diagnose and resolve common issues following standard procedures
- Escalate complex/critical issues – Forward unresolved problems to senior engineers appropriately
- Follow up on open tickets – Monitor pending cases and ensure timely progress updates
- Assist with daily system health checks – Verify normal operation of servers, network devices and services
- Update customers on ticket status – Share progress updates via email, phone or messaging channels
- Prepare daily shift handover – Document ongoing issues and key information for the next team
- Maintain documentation & reports – Update SOPs, incident records and daily operational reports
Requirements
- Currently enrolled as a full-time student (Diploma / Bachelor’s / Master’s) in IT, Computer Science, Networking, Information Systems, or related field
- Final-year students or fresh graduates (within 1 year of graduation) are eligible
- Internship must be a required / approved component of your study programme
- Malaysian citizen (for most government-supported programmes)
- Internship takes place within Malaysia
- Duration: typically 3–6 months
- Good communication skills — able to explain technical issues clearly
- Willingness to learn and follow standard procedures
- Responsible, detail-oriented, and punctual
- Basic problem-solving & logical thinking mindset
- Able to work independently and in a team
- Service-oriented attitude — patient when assisting users

Pay: RM700.00 - RM800.00 per month
