Event Sales & Revenue
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize event and banquet revenue.
Event Planning & Coordination
- Oversee the planning and execution of all hotel events from initial enquiry to post-event follow-up.
- Coordinate with Banquet, F&B, Kitchen, Front Office, Housekeeping, Engineering, Security, and other departments.
- Conduct event briefings and ensure all departments are fully informed of event requirements.
- Ensure room setups, menus, audiovisual requirements, signage, décor, and other event arrangements are properly coordinated.
- Personally oversee major or high-profile events to ensure smooth execution.
Client & Guest Experience
- Act as the main point of contact for key clients and event organizers.
- Understand client requirements and provide professional solutions to meet expectations.
- Handle client feedback, complaints, and special requests promptly and professionally.
- Conduct post-event reviews and follow up with clients to encourage repeat business.
Team Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop the Events and Banquet team.
- Set clear performance expectations and monitor team productivity.
- Conduct regular briefings, training, and performance discussions.
- Ensure team members understand and comply with hotel policies, procedures, and brand standards.
Operations & Compliance
- Ensure all events are executed according to approved contracts, Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), and hotel standards.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, security, fire safety, and relevant legal requirements.
- Monitor event setup and service standards to ensure consistency and quality.
- Review operational challenges and implement improvements where necessary.
Administration & Reporting
- Prepare and review event forecasts, revenue reports, sales reports, and performance updates.
- Monitor event deposits, billing, payment status, and outstanding balances.
- Maintain accurate event records and documentation.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on event performance, opportunities, and challenges.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, corporate accounts, and event leads.
- Manage event enquiries, proposals, quotations, contracts, and negotiations.
- Monitor event revenue, profitability, and departmental performance against targets.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
Pay: From RM9,000.00 per month
