Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical
Engineering, Production Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain
Management, Business Management, or a related discipline.
- Candidates with equivalent practical manufacturing leadership experience are
encouraged to apply.
- Sound understanding of manufacturing operations, production planning, quality
management and business fundamentals.
- Minimum 5 years of manufacturing or production management experience.
- At least 3 years in a leadership role such as Senior Supervisor, Assistant Manager or
- Age- Below 40
Manager.
- Proven track record in leading production teams, improving productivity, maintaining
product quality and achieving production targets.
- Experience in textile, bedding, furniture, plastics, foam, FMCG or other high-volume
manufacturing environments is an advantage.
- Strong leadership and people-development skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Hands-on leadership style with the ability to work effectively on the production floor.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities
1. Production Planning & Execution
- Execute daily and weekly production plans to achieve output, delivery and
productivity targets.
- Ensure manpower, machines and materials are efficiently utilised.
- Monitor production progress and resolve bottlenecks to minimise downtime.
- Maintain production schedules while meeting customer delivery commitments.
2. Product Quality & Manufacturing Excellence
- Ensure products consistently meet internal quality standards and customer
specifications.
- Strengthen in-process quality control and defect prevention.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for quality issues.
- Drive continuous reduction in defects, rework, waste and customer complaints.
3. Production Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, coach and develop Production Supervisors, Team Leaders and Operators. Build a culture of accountability, discipline, teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Conduct performance reviews, coaching sessions and manpower planning.
4. Productivity & Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity, workflow efficiency and capacity.
- Lead Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen and process improvement initiatives.
- Improve OEE, reduce cycle time and optimise labour productivity.
- Establish practical production KPIs and visual management systems.
5. SOP, Process Control & Compliance
- Develop and improve production SOPs.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturing procedures, quality standards and safety
requirements.
- Maintain production documentation and support ISO, OEKO-TEX and customer
audits.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Operations, Warehouse, Procurement, Maintenance, QA,
Customer Service, Marketing and Sales.
- Support new product introduction and operational transformation initiatives.
Key Competencies
- Strong experience in production planning, capacity planning, manpower optimisation,
scheduling and production control.
- Proven ability to achieve production targets while maintaining product quality and
operational efficiency.
- Experience driving Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma or similar
methodologies.
- Strong mindset in eliminating waste and standardising manufacturing processes.
- Experience with in-process quality control, RCA, CAPA, ISO 9001 and OEKO-TEX
requirements is an advantage.
- Good understanding of manufacturing equipment, production processes, workflow
optimisation and workplace safety.
- Able to analyse production KPIs to drive improvements.
- Experience leading production expansion, process optimisation or factory
transformation projects.
- Willing to work fully onsite and support business expansion or relocation when
required.
- Excellent command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Mandarin is an added advantage.
- Strategic thinker with strong ownership and accountability.
- Decisive under pressure and able to balance productivity, quality, cost efficiency and
people development.
Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
