Responsibilities
Osvaldo Family's Kitchen is seeking a talented and ambitious
Chef de Partie
to join our dynamic culinary team in the Central Region. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to join our kitchen brigade. As Chef de Partie, you will oversee a specific station or section of the kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, consistency and presentation. This role is central to our operational success, as you will be responsible for managing your section whilst maintaining our commitment to exceptional cuisine and outstanding service.
What you'll be doing
Oversee and manage your assigned kitchen station, maintaining strict adherence to recipes, portion sizes and presentation standards
Prepare and cook dishes to the highest quality standards, ensuring consistency across all service periods
Maintain impeccable standards of food safety, hygiene and kitchen cleanliness in accordance with all relevant regulations
Monitor ingredient stock levels and communicate any shortages or quality concerns to senior kitchen management
Work collaboratively with other Chefs de Partie and the Head Chef to ensure seamless service during busy periods
Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and report any faults or maintenance requirements
What we're looking for
Comprehensive knowledge of food safety, hygiene regulations and HACCP principles
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak service times whilst maintaining composure
Understanding of kitchen cost control, portion management and waste reduction
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
