Responsibilities
- Manage the procurement of food, beverages, ingredients, and kitchen supplies for the restaurant.
- Source and evaluate reliable suppliers based on quality, price, availability, and service.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contracts with suppliers.
- Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of required items.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate purchasing according to operational requirements.
- Inspect delivered goods to ensure they meet quality, quantity, freshness, and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier information, invoices, and purchase documentation.
- Monitor market prices and identify opportunities to reduce purchasing and operational costs.
- Coordinate with kitchen, operations, finance, and management teams regarding purchasing requirements.
- Supervise procurement activities and ensure compliance with company policies and food safety requirements.
