Responsibilities
Job Duties:
Coordinate the operation of wound clinic
Organize hospital-wide staff training to improve quality of service
Lead a team of linked nurses to improve wound care related issues
Conduct wound assessments and develop personalized care plans
Manage complex wound cases and provide clinical guidance to nursing staff
Educate patients and caregivers on wound prevention, dressing techniques, and self-care
Participate in audits, quality improvement initiatives, and staff training related to wound care
Monitor the inventory of wound care products
Review wound care related clinical policies and documentations
Requirement:
Possess a valid/current nursing practicing certificate in Hong Kong
Possess a relevant certificate in Stoma and Wound Care Nursing
At least 3 years of clinical experience with a focus on wound care
Advanced knowledge of wound care products, technologies, and evidence-based practices
Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to communicate with multidisciplinary health professionals
BLS bi-yearly recertification
