Job Description

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for overseeing a group of related projects that are aligned with a specific program or objective. It focuses on managing project interdependencies, resolving conflicts, and ensuring that projects achieve organizational goals without setbacks.
  • Support project managers and their teams in successfully delivering individual projects. It provides guidance, best practices, templates, and tools to ensure consistency and efficiency in project management practices.
  • Establishes and maintains project/program management standards, methodologies, processes, and tools across the organization.
  • Provides governance, support, and oversight for multiple projects.
  • Involved and collaborates cross functional teams and high level engagement activities across projects within the organization to meet project goals and delivery.
  • Ensure projects adhere to established governance structures and guidelines, providing a central point of control.
  • Monitors project progress, metrics, and performance, providing regular, accurate reports to stakeholders and leadership for informed decision-making.
  • Prepare weekly PMO reports including identify, track, and mitigate risks and issues at a program level, coordinating responses and minimizing their impact.
  • Acts as a central repository for project documentation, lessons learned, and historical data, facilitating continuous improvement.
  • Ensures that departmental decisions and project plans are in line with the organization's business plan and vision.
  • Leads a team of PMOs professionals and encourages maximum performance and dedication in APAC.
  • Assist with site due diligence and land acquisitions, support Sales and Solution team with RFPs

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in construction management with a successful track record in delivering large-scale data centre projects
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of data centre construction processes, methodologies, and best practices
  • Good interpersonal skills to be able to relate with people or personnel from different units of the company
  • Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Good knowledge and understanding of relevant CSA and MEP engineering applications
  • Ability to build relationship across many fronts
  • Ability to work in a team as well as an individual with little or no supervision
  • More than 10 years of relevant working experience in a project management or PMO role for mission critical facilities or Data centre projects.
  • Experience in construction management process during construction stage from mobilization, construction / installation, testing & commissioning to closeout and handover
