Key Responsibilities

• Operate robotic welding machines.
• Set up and adjust welding parameters and programs.
• Perform robot teaching and basic program modifications.
• Troubleshoot robotic welding issues.
• Optimize welding cycle time and efficiency.
• Perform MIG/TIG welding when required.
• Ensure weld quality complies with drawings and specifications.
• Inspect welding defects and perform necessary corrections.
• Maintain welding consumables and equipment.
• Train new welders on robotic welding operation.
• Develop work instructions and SOPs.
• Evaluate operator competency.
• Provide on-the-job coaching.
• Ensure welding quality meets customer standards.
• Support First Article Inspection (FAI).
• Assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Work closely with QA and Production.
• Improve welding productivity.
• Reduce welding defects and rework.
• Recommend fixture and process improvements.
• Support automation projects.
• Follow company safety procedures.
• Ensure proper PPE usage.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Requirements

• Certificate/Diploma in Welding, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of welding experience.
• Minimum 2 years of robotic welding experience.
• Able to perform robot teaching and parameter adjustment.
• Knowledge of MIG, TIG and robotic welding processes.
• Able to read engineering drawings.
• Familiar with welding symbols and measuring instruments.
• Experience training operators is an advantage.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.

Pay: From RM9,999.00 per month
