Job description:

• Assist the site SHO on various tasks, in documentation and implementation of company / department OSH programs.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, such as Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) 1994, FMA 1967 (Bowec), EQA 1974, CIDB and other related act, guideline & instruction.
• Advise employers on best practices and measures for ensuring safety.
• Conduct regular inspections of the workplace to identify and rectify any potential hazards
• Monitor, inspect and correct any unsafe practices or conditions at project site.
• Collaborate with contractor safety supervisors to ensure sub-contractors are adhering to safety regulations.
• Ensure all sub-contractors are compliant with OSHA, FMA and other related regulations.
• Investigate and report any incidents, accidents, near misses, dangerous occurrences, poisoning, or diseases that occur on the project site.
• Participate in HSE committees and execute HSE inspections and audits.
• Monitor and maintain KPIs related to safety
• Oversee all the workplace activities to ensure they are up todate and meet the safety standard.
• Undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as instructed by management

Job requirements:

• Candidate should possess a Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health or equivalent
• Must have a Yellow Book
• Certified CIDB Traffic Management Officer (TMO) is an added advantage.
• Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in the construction field is preferred for this position.
• Applicants must be willing to work in Bukit Raja, Klang.
• Applicants must be willing to work every Saturday (8AM - 1PM)
