Description and Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end employee onboarding and offboarding, including HR documentation, employee communications, access, and administrative requirements.
  • Support the administration of employee benefits and insurance, including claims/invoices, annual renewal, employee communication, and HR knowledge updates.
  • Maintain accurate employee data, HR records, reports, and HR communications, including employee movements, probation, retirement, and other HR-related documentation.
  • Manage expatriate and work permit processes, including manpower projections, government approvals, Employment Pass applications/renewals, and compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Support HR audit and compliance activities, including headcount, insurance, remuneration reconciliation, and preparation of audit documentation.
  • Coordinate site HR initiatives and employee engagement activities, including employee communications, HR programs, and engagement events.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and relevant government authorities to ensure smooth and compliant HR operations.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in HR Operations, HR Administration, or a related HR function.
  • Good knowledge of HR operations, employment practices, and Malaysia statutory requirements.
  • Experience with expatriate/work permit processes and government authorities such as JTK and SOCSO is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, reliable, and able to work independently while handling confidential information.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • HR certification or professional HR qualification is an added advantage.
