Job Responsibility

• Manage the daily operations and performance of the optical retail store.
• Conduct eye tests and provide professional optical consultation to customers.
• Perform lens edging and ensure work is completed accurately according to customer requirements.
• Understand and recommend suitable lenses and frames from multiple brands based on customers' needs, preferences and lifestyle.
• Maintain strong product knowledge of different lens types, lens features, frame styles and optical brands.
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive customer experience.
• Prepare and manage the staff duty roster to ensure smooth store operations.
• Handle stock documentation, store reports and other operational paperwork accurately and on time.
• Monitor inventory levels, stock movement and inventory control.
• Lead, coach and motivate the store team to achieve sales and service objectives.
• Develop team members through regular coaching, consultation and performance discussions.
• Create a positive, supportive and energetic working atmosphere within the store.
• Train and develop team members in eye testing, lens edging, product knowledge and customer consultation.
• Identify team members' strengths and development areas and provide appropriate guidance and training.
• Work closely with the team to solve operational and customer-related issues effectively.
• Ensure compliance with Company policies, procedures and retail standards.

Qualifications

• Preferably with supervisory or store management experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in eye testing and lens edging.
• Good knowledge of different lens types, lens features, frames and optical brands.
• Able to understand customer needs and confidently recommend suitable optical products.
• Strong leadership, coaching and people management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to consult and discuss matters constructively with team members.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage rosters, inventory and store documentation.
• Positive, responsible and customer-oriented attitude.
• Able to work in a fast-paced retail environment and lead by example.
• Passionate about developing people and building a strong optical retail team.
• Able to work shift rotation environment.
