About the Role
Simcentric is looking for an experienced Infrastructure Operations Manager (Datacenter Manger) to lead the day-to-day operations of our infrastructure services and support the delivery of high-performance computing solutions to customers across the region.

Unlike traditional data center operators that primarily provide colocation services, Simcentric operates as a bare metal infrastructure and cloud services provider. This role goes beyond managing facilities- it oversees the operational lifecycle of infrastructure, including server deployment, provisioning, logistics, inventory management, customer delivery, and operational excellence.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll lead a global team responsible for ensuring our infrastructure services remain reliable, scalable, and customer-focused while working closely with technical, project, procurement, and customer-facing teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Infrastructure Operations team, ensuring reliable 24×7 service delivery and operational excellence.

• Oversee the end-to-end operational lifecycle of infrastructure services, including server procurement, inventory management, deployment, provisioning, logistics, and hardware lifecycle management.

• Ensure smooth day-to-day operations across data center infrastructure, bare metal server deployments, and customer provisioning activities.

• Collaborate closely with Network, Systems, Project Delivery, Procurement, and Customer Success teams to deliver infrastructure solutions efficiently.

• Drive operational planning, capacity management, process improvements, and continuous optimization of infrastructure workflows.

• Manage operational incidents, change management activities, maintenance planning, and root cause analysis.

• Develop and maintain operational documentation, SOPs, and service standards.

• Coordinate vendor relationships and support procurement planning for infrastructure expansion.

• Review operational performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, and customer experience.

• Support customer onboarding, infrastructure implementation, migrations, and service delivery initiatives.

What We're Looking For

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure operations, data center operations, cloud infrastructure, hosting services, telecommunications, or managed service environments.

• Previous experience leading operational teams within a mission-critical infrastructure environment.

• Strong understanding of infrastructure operations, including:

  • Server deployment and provisioning

  • Hardware lifecycle management

  • Inventory and asset management

  • Data center operations

  • Linux environments

  • Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, switching)

• Experience working with customer-facing infrastructure services and enterprise clients.

• Strong problem-solving, operational planning, and stakeholder management skills.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate across technical and business teams.

• Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
