Responsibilities
The Royal Garden Kowloon East is situated above the MTR Tseung Kwan O Station, offering convenient access to the bustling attractions in the city.
The hotel features 366 contemporary guest rooms and suites, which are being opened in phases along with other facilities. It offers comprehensive amenities, including a 25-metre outdoor pool, a 24-hour gym, and more. Boasting a distinctive outdoor garden and modern banquet venues, the hotel is an ideal venue for hosting a variety of events, such as MICE and weddings. In addition, a wide array of family-friendly and pet-friendly features provide guests with a versatile and enriched accommodation experience.
Continuing The Royal Garden’s tradition of high-quality dining, the hotel features a rooftop Italian restaurant, Ponentino, which outdoor terrace offers expansive views of Tseung Kwan O, providing a relaxing setting for diners. The lobby’s Fine Foods Lounge serves light refreshments and pastries, including The Royal Garden’s signature butterfly cookies.
At the moment, we are looking for a Security Manager to join our professional team at The Royal Garden Kowloon East .
Job Responsibilities:
Oversee the security department, including assigning security personnel and developing detailed, regular training plans aligned with hotel standards, policies, and procedures.
Oversee systematic scheduled patrols, spot checks, and comprehensive CCTV monitoring to proactively identify, report, and eliminate potential safety and security hazards.
Conduct regular on-the-job training for security personnel and all relevant hotel staff related to fire safety, emergency response and occupational safety.
Plan and deploy security resources effectively to manage risks and ensure orderly crowd control during special events, functions, and high-occupancy periods within the hotel.
Perform other duties as assigned by superior. Supervise emergency drills and coordinate / plan emergency systems training and refresher courses with department heads.
Job Requirements:
Higher Diploma or above in Security Management, Risk Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years' relevant working experience in safety and security management in sizeable organization, of which 2 years in management level.
Holder of Security Personnel Permit and valid certificate of first aid.
Excellent command of spoken and written English and Cantonese.
Professional integrity, with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
Good command of Microsoft Office and a thorough understanding of modern security systems (CCTV, access control, alarm systems).
