Responsibilities
We are supporting a growing semiconductor manufacturing organisation in Singapore seeking a Quality Systems Engineer to develop, implement and continuously improve its Quality Management System.
This is a hands-on position suited to someone with strong knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and automotive/semiconductor quality systems, who is comfortable building processes and working across manufacturing, engineering and quality teams.
Develop and maintain QMS policies, procedures and quality documentation.
Support implementation and continuous improvement of the organisation's Quality Management System.
Drive ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 certification and audit-readiness activities.
Plan and conduct internal audits and coordinate external/customer certification audits.
Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with regulatory, customer and internal quality requirements.
Lead root-cause investigations using 5 Why, Fishbone and other structured problem-solving tools.
Manage quality activities including APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, FMEA and Control Plans.
Establish and support change-control processes and customer quality communications.
Ensure calibration and measurement traceability requirements are maintained.
Train and coach employees on quality standards, QMS requirements and IATF core tools.
Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
Around 5 years of relevant Quality/QMS experience, preferably within semiconductor or high-volume manufacturing.
Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and IATF 16949; auditor certification is preferred.
Good knowledge of APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC, FMEA and Control Plan methodologies.
VDA 6.3 Process Auditor certification would be advantageous.
