DSTA Hiring! Full Time Engineer-Senior Engineer (Sensors) in - Ricebowl

We seek driven individuals to join DSTA, where you will design, develop, integrate, test and operationalise capabilities with game changing technologies for national security.

Examples Include

• Deployment of next-generation sensor suites on diverse platforms (Airborne, Space, Air Defence, Land and Naval) for improved sensing and intelligence capabilities
• Radar systems and Electro-Optical systems for air-land-sea battlespace surveillance to enable timely detection, identification, classification and tracking of potential threats to enhance homeland and battlespace security and operational effectiveness
• LiDAR systems for autonomous navigation of unmanned platforms
• Underwater sensors and sonars that (i) enable detection, tracking and identification of underwater threats such as submarines and mines, thereby enhancing maritime security and operational effectiveness, (ii) enable underwater surveillance of key installations

SCOPE OF WORK

You will work in a cross-disciplinary team of engineers with experienced mentors, and hone your knowledge of Sensors to:

• Develop, test, and deliver game-changing engineering solutions
• Architect and integrate best-of-breed systems worldwide to deliver cohesive capabilities
• Experiment and evaluate new technologies for operationalisation
• Ensure products meet the highest standards of performance, safety and reliability
• Collaborate and co-develop technologies with leading organisations, companies and research institutions from both Singapore and internationally
• Manage and improve the systems to meet operational requirements

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Electrical and Electronic Engineering
• Proficiency in Digital Signal Processing, Computer Networking is advantageous
• Innovative and willing to learn new skills and expand into exciting new tech domains
• Dynamic personality with good interpersonal skills; self-driven with a can-do spirit
• Willing to travel for overseas work trips
