Responsibilities
Title: Equipment Test Technician
Job Responsibility
Perform equipment testing, inspection, and troubleshooting to ensure equipment meets required performance and quality standards.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings for equipment testing and fault diagnosis.
Conduct electrical testing using measuring instruments, including voltage, continuity, resistance, and related checks.
Perform equipment assembly, mechanical/electrical assembly, installation, and testing according to work instructions and specifications.
Diagnose equipment faults and perform basic troubleshooting and corrective actions to identify and resolve electrical and mechanical issues.
Carry out preventive maintenance and routine equipment checks to ensure equipment reliability and minimise downtime.
Record and document testing results, fault findings, troubleshooting activities, and equipment status accurately.
Work closely with Engineering and other relevant teams to support equipment qualification, testing, troubleshooting, and improvement activities.
Job Requirements
Nitec, Higher Nitec, Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
1–2 years of hands-on experience in equipment testing, machine/equipment assembly, electrical assembly, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, or manufacturing operations.
Able to work in a
cleanroom environment
and comply with
SOPs, safety procedures, and quality requirements
.
