Digital Marketing Intern
Learn how marketing brings in real business, from the first post someone notices to the enquiry that becomes a paying client. Research the audience, create the content, help run campaigns, and see what happens next.
Company Description
Venari Solutions builds websites, custom software, automation, AI tools, and SaaS products for Malaysian businesses. We work closely with business owners to understand their challenges and build practical solutions that help them attract customers and run their operations more smoothly.
We are a small, founder-led business. You will work directly with the founder, contribute to live projects, and see how your work supports the company’s growth.
About the Role
- We are looking for a curious and resourceful Digital Marketing Intern to help more businesses discover and understand what we do.
- You will help turn customer problems, product features, and completed projects into content people can understand and respond to. Your work will include social media, short videos, website content, outreach, and campaign tracking.
- You will also join selected customer conversations to hear how business owners describe their needs, and use those insights to create more relevant marketing.
- You are not expected to know everything from day one. Responsibilities will grow progressively, with direct guidance and regular feedback.
What You’ll Do
- Research target audiences, competitors, and the questions Malaysian business owners are asking.
- Plan and create social media content, including posts, carousels, and short videos.
- Turn our projects and product demonstrations into clear case studies and marketing materials.
- Help manage the content calendar, schedule posts, and keep our channels active.
- Draft copy for website pages, email campaigns, and personalised outreach.
- Support digital advertising campaigns, including preparing creative variations and reviewing results.
- Track website visits, engagement, and enquiries, and suggest improvements based on what you find.
- Use AI tools to support research and first drafts, then check the facts and refine the final work.
What We’re Looking For
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Strong written and spoken English and Mandarin. Bahasa Malaysia is a plus.
- Able to write clear, natural messages that sound like a person.
- Interested in social media, content creation, digital marketing, and how businesses attract customers.
- Organised, dependable, and comfortable communicating early when you need help or a deadline may slip.
- Curious about technology and willing to learn how to explain software and AI in everyday language.
- Comfortable using AI tools thoughtfully, with ownership of the work you submit.
- Open to feedback and willing to try, review, and improve.
Nice to Have
- Basic Canva, CapCut, or other design and video-editing skills.
- Experience running a social media page, student club, personal project, or small business.
- Comfortable filming short videos or appearing on camera.
- Examples of content you have created, including coursework or personal projects.
What You’ll Learn
- How to turn technical products into messages business owners understand.
- How to plan content around customer needs and business goals.
- How social media, websites, outreach, and follow-ups work together to generate enquiries.
- How to assess marketing performance beyond likes and views.
- How customer conversations shape positioning, content, and campaigns.
- How a founder makes decisions about marketing, pricing, and growth.
You will receive direct feedback from the founder and build a portfolio of work used in real campaigns.
